Disaster Response Inspector

What is a Disaster Response Inspector?

Disaster Response Inspector (DRI) is a program with the International Code Council providing Building Inspectors education “When Disaster Strikes”.

What are the different kind of Building Inspectors?

Their are many kind of Inspectors, but to stay with the basics, there are Apprentice, Real Estate & Professional Inspectors, licensed with Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). They normally specialize in when someone is selling or purchasing a property (real estate transaction).

Now most of your “city” inspector for New Construction or Pre-Existing property (residential, commercial, industrial, etc.) are not TREC licensed, but follow in lines with the International Code Council.

Eric Ramirez has been a “Residential Building Inspector” since 2013 and has inspected over 1,000 proprieties.

What Commercial Experience does Eric Ramirez have?

As an Public Insurance Adjuster and Insurance Adjuster, he has inspected 100+ Commercial Buildings (Gas Station, Retail, Grocery Stores, Apartment Complex (flood), etc.), from $35,000-$26,000,000 in damages.

Commercial Building Inspector is Eric’s ultimate goal to become a “Combo-Inspector” as a Residential & Commercial Inspector, obviously he can become a Residential Combo Inspector by taking his International Pluming or Heating & Ventilation Air Condition, would qualify him as combo inspector, but his ultimate goal is to become a Residential & Commercial Combo Inspector.

He continues to follow the International Code Council for future education for building codes.
